Robert Stoner

Robert Stoner is the deputy director for science and technology at the MIT Energy Initiative (MITEI), and founding director of the MIT Tata Center for Technology and Design .
He is currently a member of the MIT Energy Council, the Science and Technology Committee of the U.S. National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), the Aspen Institute’s US-India Track-II Dialogue, and the Rockefeller Foundation-funded Global Commission to End Energy Poverty on which he serves as secretary.

Philippe has an industrial experience in the design of energy-related products and their applications (Danfoss), of 30 years, stationed in different countries, China, Germany, France. And a research experience at Armines (Energy center of ‘Ecole des Mines de Paris’ ) of 7 years. Philippe ensured the animation at the beginning of the European certification program of the performances of refrigeration compressors
(ASERCOM).

Stéphane Watts

Graduated in 2001 from the IN Toulouse (France), in Mechanical Engineering and Energy. He held multiple R&D positions within companies in railways (Alstom), naval defense (DCNS) and refrigeration (Danfoss), before joining EXOES in 2015 as Head of Engineering, member of the board, focusing on volumetric machines. He runs now his own business as Thermal Management Consultant, specializing in scroll technology and supporting EU H2020 projects.

Thiébaut Kientz

Thiébaut Kientz is a consultant with over 15 years of experience in R&D and intellectual property. He co-founded EXOES, where he pioneered Rankine cycle solutions for waste heat recovery, particularly in the automotive sector. His expertise spans diverse fields, including renewable energy, vehicle powertrains, water filtration and space propulsion. With a background in materials engineering, he enjoys working on sustainable technologies and defining roadmaps to protect key innovations for a desirable future.
